• Steel cans (soup, beans, etc.)
• Plastic bottles or containers
• Glass bottles
• Other aluminum items (foil, pans, etc.)

No! Our pickup service is completely free. There are no hidden fees, charges, or costs associated with our aluminum can recycling service. We believe that making recycling accessible to everyone is key to building a sustainable community. Simply schedule your pickup, and we'll handle the rest at no cost to you.

Scheduling a pickup is easy! You have two options:

1. Online: Visit our contact page and fill out the scheduling form. It takes less than 2 minutes.
2. Text Message: Send a text message with "BLU" to (704)818-0841 and our team will help you schedule.

Choose your preferred pickup day and time, and we'll handle the rest. You can adjust your schedule anytime.

We currently serve local residential neighborhoods throughout our service area. Service area coverage includes neighborhoods within a 15-mile radius of our main office, with expansion planned for additional areas throughout 2026.

Yes! We provide durable collection bags to help you organize and store aluminum cans until pickup day. These bags are:

• Designed specifically for aluminum can collection
• Water-resistant and built to last
• Available in convenient sizes
• Branded with Blue Peak Renewals

Custom recycling bins are also in development and will be available later in 2026. In the meantime, our collection bags work great for most households.

You can also use your own containers—just make sure aluminum cans are easily accessible for our pickup team.

After we collect your aluminum cans, they go through our specialized recycling process:

1. Collection: We pick up your cans from your curb
2. Sorting & Cleaning: Cans are sorted and cleaned at our facility
3. Processing: They're compressed and prepared for recycling
4. Transformation: Aluminum is sent to processing facilities where it becomes new products
5. New Life: Your cans can become new beverage cans, automotive parts, construction materials, and more
